Bound holograph manuscript field book, containing a survey and allotment of tracts No. 12 and 15 in Town No. 1-R-11 of the Connecticut Western Reserve. The manuscript contains narrative text and four maps. A signed manuscript note by Henshaw at the end of the volume states, "The foregoing survey and allotment of tracts Nos. 12 & 15 made for Jonathan Sloane, Esq., agent of Saml. Hinkley, Esq. the proprietor, in the months of June and August, 1826."
